Our founder and director, Zarah was born and raised in the UK before moving to Dubai in 2017.

Zarah comes from a legal and compliance background, reading law at university and going on to complete three masters degrees as well as currently studying for a PhD from the University of Oxford,

Zarah has worked for reputable multinationals such as British American Tobacco managing and implementing the sanctions and governance compliance programme for the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. Currently, Zarah is responsible for the creation and implementation of the Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) strategy for Advanced Inhalations Rituals, aiming to manage the corporate impact and make positive and workable solutions that benefit shareholders, consumers, third parties and the environment.

Zarah is Oxford Consultant’s in house specialist on sanctions, governance and compliance related matters. Zarah also works closely with other consultants, both internal and external to ensure a high level of service is provided to our clients.

In her spare time, Zarah loves to travel and has visited over 40 countries, and counting! She loves to read, spend time with family and friends and is passionate about contributing positively to society and the environment.
